بصمة البنان
البنان هو نهاية الإصبع، وقد قال الله -تعالى: (أَيَحْسَبُ الإِنسَانُ أَلَّن نَجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُ بَلَى قَادِرِينَ عَلَى أَن نُّسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُ) - القيامة: آية 3،4 -.
وقد توصَّل العلم إلى سر البصمة في القرن التاسع عشر، وبيّن أن البصمة تتكون من خطوط بارزة في بشرة الجلد تجاورها منخفضات، وتعلو الخطوط البارزة فتحات المسام العرقية، تتمادى هذه الخطوط وتتلوَّى وتتفرَّع عنها فروع لتأخذ في النهاية -وفي كل شخص-شكلاً مميزًا، وقد ثبت أنه لا يمكن للبصمة أن تتطابق وتتماثل في شخصين في العالم حتى في التوائم المتماثلة التي أصلها من بويضة واحدة، ويتمّ تكوين البنان في الجنين في الشهر الرابع، وتظل البصمة ثابتة ومميزة له طيلة حياته، ويمكن أن تتقارب بصمتان في الشكل تقاربًا ملحوظًا، ولكنهما لا تتطابقان أبدًا؛ ولذلك فإن البصمة تعد دليلاً قاطعًا ومميزًا لشخصية الإنسان ومعمولاً به في كل بلاد العالم، ويعتمد عليها القائمون على تحقيق القضايا الجنائية لكشف المجرمين واللصوص. وقد يكون هذا هو السر الذي خصص الله -تبارك وتعالى- من أجله البنان، وفي ذلك يقول العلماء: "لقد ذكر الله البنان ليلفتنا إلى عظيم قدرته حيث أودع سرًّا عجيبًا في أطراف الأصابع، وهو ما نسميه بالبصمة" .
بصمة الرائحة
لكل إنسان بصمة لرائحته المميزة التي ينفرد بها وحده دون سائر البشر أجمعين والآية تدل على ذلك قال الله -تعالى- على لسان يعقوب -عليه السلام-: (وَلَمَّا فَصَلَتِ الْعِيرُ قَالَ أَبُوهُمْ إِنِّي لأَجِدُ رِيحَ يُوسُفَ لَوْلاَ أَن تُفَنِّدُونِ) -يوسف: 94.
